CPR
Covers the knowledge and skills required to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, manage an emergency scene, and assess a casualty in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. The most common starting point for individuals and workplaces needing a CPR certificate.

Course FAQs
HLTAID009 (CPR) covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation only. HLTAID011 (Provide First Aid) includes CPR plus the full range of first aid skills — wounds, fractures, burns, shock, and managing an emergency scene. Most workplaces require HLTAID011.
If you work in childcare or education, HLTAID012 is the specific unit most centres and regulators require, as it covers scenarios and requirements unique to working with infants and young children, including anaphylaxis and asthma management.
Yes — we regularly run all three courses onsite for teams, workplaces and childcare centres across NSW. Get in touch with your group size and preferred dates and we'll organise it.
Just yourself, comfortable clothing you don't mind kneeling in, and photo ID. All training equipment, manikins, and course materials are provided.
On successful completion, you'll receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued under RTO 32154, generally provided digitally within a few business days of your course.

Which course do I need?
100% Face-to-Face — No Online Pre-Learning Required
Every Rapid Response course is delivered entirely face-to-face. Unlike many providers who require 2–4 hours of online e-learning before your classroom day, we cover everything during the session. Your staff turn up, train, and walk out certified — no homework, no pre-course assessments, no online portals.

Statement of Attainment emailed the day you complete your assessment.

Which Course Do I Need?
- CPR renewal only (HLTAID009) — Already hold HLTAID011/012 and only need annual CPR renewal. 2 hours, $50.
- Workplace first aid (HLTAID011) — Required for any NSW workplace first aider. Every 3 years. 4 hours, $120.
- Childcare & educator (HLTAID012) — For childcare, preschool, kindergarten or OSHC. ACECQA-approved. 5 hours, $120.
