CPR Skills Degrade Faster Than You Think
Research shows CPR proficiency declines significantly within months of initial training. The Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) recommends annual renewal specifically because of this skill decay. Our HLTAID009 course is hands-on — every participant performs compressions on a manikin, operates an AED trainer, and practises DRSABCD in a realistic scenario.
Who Needs Annual CPR Renewal?
- Nominated workplace first aiders — WHS legislation requires annual CPR renewal
- Childcare educators holding HLTAID012 — ACECQA requires annual CPR renewal
- Healthcare support, aged care and disability support workers
- Fitness professionals, personal trainers and gym staff
- Trades and construction workers on sites requiring an on-site first aider
- Anyone who wants confidence that their CPR skills are current
Already hold HLTAID011? The CPR component (HLTAID009) must be renewed annually even if your HLTAID011 is still within its 3-year validity. Our 2-hour CPR refresher is the most efficient way to meet this requirement.
CPR Training at Your Workplace
For teams of 10 or more needing CPR renewal, onsite training is the most practical option. We bring all equipment to your premises anywhere in NSW — including early morning, lunchtime or weekend sessions.
